Historic District Residence

​

André and Gina Smith are new to Detroit, recently building a new house in the Brush Historic District.  André works for an automotive company and Gina is the Vice President of an advertisement company in Italy, which she will be representing in the United States.   The Brush Historic District in Detroit has strict building codes to ensure that the newly constructed houses fit into the neighborhood.
The new house will be have Victorian elements on the exterior including multidimensional roof lines, large porches, and red brick. The interior will have an open floor plan and the clients are planning to entertain up to twenty people for the holidays as well as host small cocktail parties for clients and employees.  The house will have three levels as well as a full basement.  The back of he back of the property has an access to the ally, in which there will be a three car garage with a carriage house.

 
This project was completed entirely in AutoCAD with the exception of the model.  The model was constructed out of foam core, chip board, wood, and paper.

Elegance Dress Shop



This retail space is a high end dress shop that includes shoes and accessories in order to gain a customized look for each and every dress.  The goal is to make the customer not only comfortable, but to make her feel beautiful and confidant.

AutoCAD was used to create the plans and Google Sketchup was used to create the perspectives.

Moonlight Garden Restaurant



The Moonlight Garden is a restaurant and lounge that serves fresh and healthy cuisine from all over the world.  The main floor is the restaurant with a separate bar and waiting area to provide the guests with as much comfort as possible.  The lower level is a lounge and night club where guests can admire local talent and sample Michigan made beverages.  The building is a former Salvation Army located in Detroit, MI.

AutoCAD was used to create the floor plans and Google Sketchup was used to create the perspectives and elevation.

New Historic Museum

There is a new addition to the Detroit Historic
Museum, the new addition is a separate building located next to the current Historic Museum.  This new museum will showcase the European Styles that have been an inspiration to our American culture, focused on the  English from Elizabethan to English Arts and Crafts.

This project was completed primarily in Autodesk Revit Architecture.
